MAPS School Board Meeting of May 18, 2020 at 11:00 am
Due to Executive Order 2020-75, the May 18th Marquette Area Public School Board meeting will be held virtually at 11:00 am with Board Members and Staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.
This meeting will be livestreamed on the Marquette Area Public Schools YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkNSZZ3Du1sXQUUyA0hGsHg). Please note that the YouTube livestream will have at least a 20 second delay.
Public Participation
There will be two options for public participation in this meeting: video conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods for the meeting, one at the beginning for agenda items and one at the end. Comments will be limited to five minutes and speakers are asked to give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 750 words.
Members of the public wishing to make a video comment will need to visit https://zoom.us/j/9307236919?pwd=TEgyRkliS1dQRU5qT3dtNGdVZmpqQT09 on a computer or smart device that has a camera.
Written comments can be submitted directly to [email protected] and will be accepted until 8 a.m. on Monday, May 18th.
When participating via video conferencing, you will be placed into a virtual lobby/on-hold until the Public Comment portions of the meetings are reached. Once Public Comment begins, the Chair will go through each person waiting in the lobby one at a time and provide them with the opportunity to address the Board. It is recommended that participants follow the meeting on YouTube to know when the Public Comment portion is occurring and be ready to make their comment.
The video conference lobby will open at 10:50 a.m. on May 18, 2020.
